How to Join IDOs on Pumpad?

Welcome to Pumpad! To ensure you guys can smoothly participate in the IDO events, please follow this tutorial step by step. Let's dive in!

1. Enter the 'Launchpad' on navigation bar

1. Scroll down the page to enter an event. Normally, it might have two rounds in an IDO, which is 'Public/Private' round. Here we will use the public as an example

1. Click 'View' to check the details, and you need to connect your MetaMask or other wallets first. Since Pumpad built on the Bitlayer network, you might encounter the wallet trying to add a network for you, if you never did that before.

1. If it cannot be added automatically, you can manually add it with the following details:

Network Name: Bitlayer Mainnet

Chain ID: 200901

Network URL: https://rpc.bitlayer.org

Block Explorer: https://www.btrscan.com

1. Now you should enter the IDO page successfully. You can see that the project might not start yet, which shows you a countdown starting time and upcoming status. In this stage, you still cannot buy in the allocation

1. Once it starts, you can buy in the allocation with a suitable amount, then click 'Confirm' to finish the purchase. However, you need use Bitlayer_BTC or BitUSD to purchase most of the assets launched on Pumpad. Here is the guide of how to get Bitlayer_BTC.

1. You should see the success notice and the allocation you bought if everything goes well

1. When the sales event ends, you can check the allocation and the time that you can claim the token

1. When the token unlocks, you can claim the unlock part at anytime you want.

1. Of course, you can wait until the token vested amount reaches the amount you want and claim them at one time.
