How to Get Bitlayer_BTC (BTR_BTC)?

Buy BTC on Bitlayer

1. Access Bitlayer-buy Gas and connect your EVM wallet, using OKX Wallet, Unisat Wallet, Bitget Wallet or Metamask

   1. Choose the amount you'd like to buy and Purchase (Promotion: only $1 for the Get Gas Express fee, right now!)

   2. Using your exchange app, select USDT TRC20 or use the QR code to get the payment address to make the payment of the specified amount (which must be 1USDT more than the amount you chose in the previous step, otherwise it may not work)

   3. Click" Complete", wait 10mins. The specified amount of BTC will arrive at your connecting EVM address

Bridge EVM BTC to Bitlayer

1. Access Bitlayer and Bridge your EVM BTC to Bitlayer

   1. If you have BTC on Binance exchange, withdraw your BTC to Arbitrum or BNB Chain.

      • For BTC on the BNB Chain, use **Meson** as the bridging tool

      • For BTC on Arbitrum, use Owlto as the bridging tool

2. Bridge BTC with Meson

   2. You will see the estimated amount of BTC (Bitlayer) to be received and the bridge fee.

   3. Wait approximately 8 minutes to complete the bridge from EVM BTC to Bitlayer

3. Bridge BTC with Owlto

   1. On Owlto, connect your EVM wallet, select the source chain, target chain, and the amount of BTC to bridge (maximum bridge amount is 0.01 BTC per transaction)

   2. The estimated amount of BTC (Bitlayer) to be received and the bridge fee, which is typically between 2-5 USD, will be displayed

   3. Wait approximately 10 minutes to complete the bridge process from EVM BTC to Bitlayer

Bridge BTC to Bitlayer

• Access **Bitlayer** Bridge & Earn.
• Connect your wallet using OKX Wallet, Unisat Wallet, or Bitget Wallet

• Enter the amount of BTC you plan to bridge

• Connect your EVM wallet to select your recipient address. Supported wallets include MetaMask, OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, TokenPocket, and WalletConnect

• Click on [Transfer], and confirm the transaction in your BTC wallet

• When "Completed" appears, it means the cross-chain transaction was successful, transferring BTC to your Bitlayer address

• The reserved cross-chain fee is 0.00015 BTC, meaning that the balance minus the amount should be greater than or equal to 0.00015 BTC.
